If I ever find out how to do one we will have a link as well. Have just discovered I can lock/delete threads. I am an old dog to learn new tricks.
Pete,i think somebody posted a "how to do it " thingy for links on the main discussion board on PASOTI the other day and its been stickied, may be helpful.

Yes I have read it a number of times, and come away shaking my head and muttering. Believe it or not at one time I used to teach computing to students on the comms course at Plymouth Poly as it was then.

If you want to post an article from the herald for example, all you need to do is to open the article up.Then highlight the URL which should appear in the browser bar at the top of the page, and right click and choose copy. Then hide the herald article and go back to your original post.Right click and choose paste and the article should appear in your post.Hope this is a bit clearer.

The URL is basically the website address-taking the herald again as an example-if you wanted a link to the qpr v argyle match, google this is plymouth herald argyle, etc and the URL appears in the browser as follows.

http://www.thisisplymouth.co.uk/argy...l/article.html

Basically the URL is the bit from http to html, just highlight, right click, copy, back to your post and paste-voila! Not easy to describe these things in written form.
