Think Shilton at that time was better than James is now. James is only in the England team because we have no decent keepers.

We'll just have to wait and see how it works out at City. They are clearly gearing up for a promotion push in the next season or two .
You wouldn't pay his wages unless you had cash backed , real ambition.

Im not being an "Aviva boy
" believe me i am all for big investment and all the rest of it, i just think if you have that much to invest (wages) in a team i think spending it on a goalkeeper is a bit of a waste, but then again when they have Maynard up front![]() |
