They may have started off with good intentions but they got greedy and small minded.
Both Pulis & Ollie knew the score, as did their players. When Ollie asked the board to back a promotion push , I believe they agreed to seek investment but in reality, did nothing. When he found out the truth, the dream was over. I was told this by a reliable source but can't be certain that this version is correct.
Holloway was perfect for Argyle.
Spot on but I do think one day he will come back here as he has unfinished business I reckon

the board never support and ambitious manager with promotion in mind
they were happy for championship stability [so was I] but I think promotion was a possibility and when pulis and Olly realised that they pulled the plug and left, both have now taken a club into the top flight and are premier league managers

For the hundredth time, there is no such thing as being an established championship side, you need cash backed ambition to inspire players, managers and the potential fanbase.

These are the sides I feel are established championship clubs who have potential but have never pushed up against the boundries of the premier league, or in other words, are happy with championship stability
Coventry
Crystal Palace
Reading
Watford
Cardiff City
Sheffield United

Apart from Cardiff , they have all been in the Premier league in the not too distant past and apart from Watford and Palace, who could both be relegated anytime, have developed fanbases of 20 k.
